In many countries, not least in gospel circles in the USA, the Oslo Gospel Choir is ranked as one of the best modern gospel choirs in the world. On this CD the choir returns to its musical roots with modern swinging gospel music. The ten new songs by Tor Aas on this CD continue the trend of adding elements of contemporary pop music to gospel music. Two of the tracks from the new CD are already favourites on Norwegian national radio and local stations. The band has Jonny Sjo playing bass, Bernt Rune Stray on guitar and Karl Oluf Wennerberg on percussion. Stein Austrud has programmed the sound and Tore Aas has produced the record. The choir's own Lars A. Fredriksen, Kine Ludvigsen, Gro Myhren Værnes and Hans Esben Gihle are featured as soloists, supplemented by Anja Lehmann and Danny Plett from Germany and Suzanne van der Velde, Ralph van Manen and Kees Kraaijenoord from the Netherlands.
